Art has long had a visible place at Balestrand Hotell, and in recent years we have invited an increasing number of artists to exhibit their work here.

The hotel's shared spaces and guest rooms serve as exhibition spaces, bringing together paintings, textile art and street art. Some works catch your eye as you make your way through the hotel, while others become part of the room you stay in.

We want the hotel to be a place where artists can reach new audiences, and where people from Balestrand and visitors alike can encounter art as part of everyday life. We exhibit work by artists with ties to Balestrand as well as artists from other parts of Norway, with a particular interest in giving young and emerging artists a place to show their work.

The art in our shared spaces is also open to visitors who are not staying at the hotel. Feel free to drop by and see what's on display.
