The season runs from April to October
Balestrand Hotell is open from April to October, welcoming overnight guests and visitors throughout the season. Whether you're staying for a few nights, stopping by for a coffee or joining us for a drink at the bar, we'd love to see you.
The hotel is a place to slow down, meet people and enjoy the surroundings. Spend some time in our garden by the fjord, settle in for a drink or use the hotel as a base for exploring Balestrand and the surrounding area.
Opening hours during the season:
Weekdays: 12:00–23:00
Friday and Saturday: 12:00–01:00
Sunday: 12:00–23:00

Bar & Café
Our bar is open to everyone during the season. Whether you fancy a good beer, want to explore our wine selection or simply hang out with good people, you are welcome.
We have a particular fondness for natural wines and locally produced cider and wine. Feel free to ask us for local recommendations when you check in.
We do not offer regular food service apart from a simple breakfast, but the hotel is just a short walk from the village centre, where you will find several restaurants and cafés.
Every morning, we serve coffee and croissants to all staying guests until 10:00. If you would like a more substantial breakfast, you receive a 20% discount on the breakfast buffet at Kviknes Hotel, just a five minute walk along the fjord.
