Kvar er linosnitt?
Linosnitt er ein tradisjonell trykkjeteknikk som vanlegvis blir brukt til trykk på papir. I denne workshopen nyttar vi gjenbruka PVC-golv frå gamle bygningar som lerret. Vi ristar ut unike motiv i materialet og handtrykkjer dei på tekstilar. Vi kjem til å gå djupare inn i linosnitt – både risting og trykk på klede. Du vil lære kunsten å riste, skygge og komponere, og få med deg tips og triks for å halde fram med teknikken etter workshopen. I tillegg til sjølve handverket snakkar vi litt om verdien av å byte ut digital scrolling med djup konsentrasjon og gleda ved manuelt arbeid. For å kunne gå så grundig inn i teknikken som mogleg er kapasiteten avgrensa til 10 personar. Om det blir fleire påmelde, opnar vi kanskje ein ny workshop.
Inga erfaring nødvendig: Kursleiaren har undervist menneske i alle aldrar i 12 år.
Ta med: Berre litt tolmod og eit lysfarga plagg (t-skjorte, tote bag e.l.) som du vil oppgradere med din eigen kunst.
Bonus: Kursleiaren har med seg ei samling originale slovakiske motiv som kan inspirere og pynte på arbeida.

Med utdanning i kunstpedagogikk og 12 års erfaring har Igor Hanecak leidd workshops for alt frå bedriftsteam til mindre stader. I dagens travle verd er Igor særleg opptatt av å løfte verdien av handarbeid. Arbeidet spenner frå profesjonell tatovering og grafisk kunst til sosiale NGO-prosjekt, der kunst ofte blir brukt til å støtte veldedige formål.

What is Linocut?
Linocut is a traditional printmaking technique typically used for printing on paper. In this workshop, we will be using repurposed PVC flooring from old buildings as our canvas. We will carve unique motifs into the material and hand-print them onto textiles.
We will delve deep into the art of linocut—covering both the carving process and printing on clothing. You will learn the skills of carving, shading, and composition, and receive tips and tricks to continue practicing the technique after the workshop. Beyond the craft itself, we will discuss the value of replacing digital scrolling with deep concentration and the joy of manual labor.
To ensure the highest quality of instruction, capacity is limited to 10 participants. If interest exceeds this limit, we may open an additional workshop session.
No experience necessary: The instructor has 12 years of experience teaching people of all ages.
What to bring: Just a bit of patience and a light-colored garment (t-shirt, tote bag, etc.) that you wish to upgrade with your own art.
Bonus: The instructor will provide a collection of original Slovak motifs for inspiration and decoration.

With a background in art education and 12 years of experience, Igor Hanečák has led workshops for everyone from corporate teams to small community groups. In today’s busy world, Igor is particularly dedicated to promoting the value of handmade craftsmanship. His work spans professional tattooing and graphic arts to social NGO projects, where art is often used to support charitable causes.
